Simvivor Episode 9

The battle has well and truly commenced...

The lines have been drawn...

The new King has been elected..

And Ashleigh and Sam have been lined up for elimination...

But deep in the heart of the Island lays a terrible secret...

A secret that will shock the contestants to the core...

Tania: I don’t go into things unless i’m going to come out the end as the winner...

Kyle: This is a once in a lifetime chance to be on TV. I don't think any show has had anything like me...

What secrets lay within the heart of Simvivor; find out tonight.

Debbie: Hello and welcome to a very special episode of Simvivor. Tonight we’ve got our second elimination of the series where Ashleigh and Sam will go head to head in an almighty battle for your survival. Then we’ve got a very special secret for you which concerns two new islanders. Gosh, i can hardly contain myself today...

Debbie: Here’s what’s going to happen we’re going to have a re-cap of what the contestants got up to yesterday on the island and then i’m going to be visiting the centre of the island...where i’ll be meeting two new contestants; who are they? Will the islanders get a hunk, a hottie? Could we finally have Amy’s dream boyfriend? Or will we be joined by an island-living expertise to take over the beach from Dean? All will be revealed; then after i’ve met up with those two and revealed the latest news, i’ll be heading to the beach to announce who has been eliminated. The lines are still open so get voting whilst you can.

Debbie: But now let’s take a look at what happened yesterday where Amy and Dean’s disagreement from the night before still lingers over the beach like a bad cloud.

Morning:

Josh: Everyone stayed in bed a little longer today, i think everyone is too scared to wake up after Dean and Amy’s little spat last night.

Sam: Why is everyone still in bed?
David: Not sure mate, i think it could be because we’re all tired from the challenge yesterday.
Sam: So what’s Kayley’s excuse? (laughs)
David: (laughs) Probably just being lazy.

Dean: Morning pal.
Josh: Alright mate, is everything okay this morning?
Dean: Yeah like, just going to let other people do the cooking from now on.
Josh: Where did you go last night?
Dean: Me and Kayley just sat in the tree house chatting.
Josh: Oh yeah? (Laughs)
Dean: (laughs) That’s the last thing on my mind mate, i’m trying to figure out why i’ve upset Amy.
Josh: Don’t let it worry you mate, i think she’s upset because her friends are nominated.
Dean: I’m gonna speak to her today.

Sam: What’s all this i’ve been hearing about you arguing with Dean?
Amy: Oh god, i only told him to take a step back with the cooking, you’d think i’d shot him in the leg.
Sam: Oh my god, well done (laughs).
Amy: It was seriously doing my head in that he assumed i wanted my food spicing up, i hated the spice we had on the chicken.
Sam: We only had noodles yesterday.
Amy: I went to bed.

Ashleigh: How are you Amy?
Amy: Fine, is it such a big thing with me and Dean last night?
Ashleigh: I think everyone’s talking about it.
Amy: Oh god.
Ashleigh: Kayley went off with him yesterday.
Amy: Oh i’d love Kayley to say something to me, i wouldn’t hold back, trust me.
Sam: (laughs) I think she’s too underhanded for that.

Stacey: So where did you and Dean go last night?
Kayley: He was a little upset, so i just chatted to him in the tree house.
Stacey: Oh right, i was all alone.
Kayley: Sorry Stacey, i should’ve known you’d have supported him.
Stacey: What’s happened?
Kayley: That Amy started having a go at him over nothing last night.
Stacey: Really? Where was i?
Kayley: Swimming i think; it’s annoyed me because he’s a really nice guy and the people round here Stacey: Just leave it Kay, don’t defend Dean, he can defend himself.

Dean: Morning Amy, fancy a chat?
Amy: Erm...not just now Dean, maybe later yeah?
Dean: Well i don’t want to drag this thing on longer that it has.
Amy: It’s dragged on two days, it’s too late.
Dean: I didn’t realise you had a big problem with my cooking.
Amy: I don’t have a big problem, why are you blowing it out of proportion? I said that i didn’t like the spice in the food, and then i suggested asking around to see if everyone else liked it before you went ahead and made it.
Dean: I’m not blowing it out of proportion, i think the way you addressed the issue yesterday was very nasty.
Amy: I’m sorry but that’s just me, i’m not gonna sit around and think about how to put things across, i don’t care if you hate me or your little gang.
Dean: What gang?

Amy: You, Kayley, Josh, David, Stacey and everyone else.
David: There is no gang.
Dean: I don’t know where you’ve got that idea from Amy, there are no gangs here.
Amy: Open your eyes and you’ll see things clearly.
Dean: (sighs) Well, i think it’s time to have a unanimous vote to decide who does the cooking from now on.
Amy: They’re obviously going to choose you because of your “gang”, jeez i feel like i’m talking to a brick wall here.
Dean: So how can we resolve this?
Amy: I'm sick of repeating myself. I’ll speak to you later okay?
Dean: Look i don't want this to drag on.
Amy: (sighs) Then leave me be and i'll speak to you later.
Dean: Alright then.

Amy: I wonder at times.
Ashleigh: (laughs) Don’t make me laugh i need the toilet.
Amy: (laughs) It’s like talking to a plank of wood. Is he actually for real?!
Ashleigh: I’ll be back in a second.

12:00pm:

Kristen: So what kind of clubs do you all go to?
Kayley: Oh don’t mention clubs to me please.
Stacey: Same here, i miss them so much.
Kayley: The world cup is the best time to have a piss-up with your mates.
Josh: Yeah i agree with that.
Kayley: Last world cup...2006 wasn’t it? I remember going to this pub in Essex and we stayed there all night, we got out from the pub and into the taxi; i can’t remember what we spoke about, but that taxi driver always winked at me after that.
Kristen: Oh my lord what did you do?
Kayley: God knows, but he seemed to think i was his friend after that taxi ride.

Amy: I better speak to Dean before they think i’m really evil and chase after me with the burning torches.
Sam: Yeah, you may as well do.

Amy: Dean, fancy a chat now?
Dean: Yeah sure.

Amy: Okay let me start by saying i’m sorry if i offended you earlier, i really didn’t mean to. I think that the way i put things across at times isn’t always the right way, so i’d like to apologise for that.
Dean: Well, i appreciate that; thank you.
Amy: The initial problem was that i didn’t like the spices you put in the chicken, that’s all it was.
Dean: Well it can easily be sorted, just come to me and say “Dean i don’t want those spices in my food” and that’ll be it.
Amy: Yeah, i wish i had now because it may have saved all this heartache.
Dean: Don’t think there are gangs forming though, if anything we’re all quite united in one group.
Amy: Dean you’re an intelligent guy surely you can see that there’s clearly a divide.
Dean: It’s not my doing though, i’m not even aware of these gangs.
Amy: Okay, well are we all sorted now, i do like you, you’re not my least favourite around here.

Dean: Yeah, just come and chat if there’s anything wrong Amy, i’ll listen to you.
Amy: Thanks, i appreciate it.

Night Time:

The contestants have been provided with a party to celebrate either Ashleigh or Sam’s last night’s on the island. Music is played through the speakers...

Speakers: (Bad Romance by Lady Gaga begins playing).
Amy: Oh great, this is all we need.
Sam: I love this song.

Kristen: This song always reminds me of Kieran.
Ashleigh: It’s a sign.
David: A sign?
Ashleigh: Yeah, i’m so gone tomorrow.
Josh: Oh god you’re gonna start sounding like him with the “Lady Gaga knows me” stuff.
Ashleigh: No it is, Kieran was my closest friend, and this is his favourite song played as a celebration piece for my potential elimination.
Kristen: (laughs) Don’t read so much into is Ashleigh, just have fun.

Kayley: I can’t concentrate.
Stacey: Why what’s wrong?
Kayley: I’m so horny, you wouldn’t believe.
Stacey: (laughs) There’s no hot guys here, eh?
Kayley: No, none of them stand out to me.
Stacey: What about Dean?
Kayley: No babe, he’s not for me at all.
Stacey: Sam’s looking hot with his tan.
Kayley: (gasps) Isn’t he? I thought that when he came out of the water earlier...

Stacey: Why not go in for the kill?
Kayley: (laughs) “Go in for the kill”.
Stacey: (laughs) Go and pounce.
Kayley: He’s not my type at all.
Stacey: You’re so picky, i thought you liked manly guys?
Kayley: Yeah but they have to be single, good looking and....
Stacey: ...rich?
Kayley: Nah i’m not bothered about money, they’ve got to fancy me.
Stacey: All the guys here fancy you.
Kayley: I don’t think so. (sighs) Please send me a hunk in producer...please...

Sam: I hope i don’t go tomorrow.
Amy: Don’t worry Sam; i’m sure you’ll stay.
Sam: You don’t know that.
Amy: Look you’re a nice guy, why wouldn’t they keep you.
Sam: Aww thanks Amy.
Amy: You really are, don’t worry about anything.

Debbie: So Amy’s certain Sam’s staying; Ashleigh’s certain she’s going, but at the end of the day, it’s all down to you, the viewer; the lines have now closed, i’ll be revealing who’s been eliminated later. Okay, i’m now at the centre of the island, it was reported late last night that a plane had crashed onto the island...should we take a look?

Debbie: Taa daa! This is the plane crash and inside the plane are two brand new contestants. Should we take a look at the first contestants VT before we meet them?

Producer: So you’re from America?
Kyle: I am indeed.
Producer: What’s your name?
Kyle: It’s Kyle.

Kyle: I live in LA, which is like the celeb centre of America. I’m surrounded by them quite a lot. I’ve become very busy recently; i left my boring old job in LA and decided to focus on my music career. It’s basically non-existent (laughs), hopefully this show will get me some promotion. I came over here to audition for this show, i felt so bad knowing that i didn’t get onto the island at the start, but i’m willing to get my hopes back up and hopefully you’ll put me in.

Debbie: Wow Kyle, i have to say you’re a very good looking guy.
Kyle: Aww thank you Debbie, you’re obviously good looking.
Debbie: Oh flattery, i love it. So you’ve come all the way over here from LA, do you have any idea what you’re getting yourself into?
Kyle: I’m fully prepared, i’ve watched the all the episodes of the show so far so i know what to expect.
Debbie: You know they’re desperate for a good looking guy at the moment, even one of the guys, Sam.
Kyle: Ah hopefully they’ll welcome me with open arms then?
Debbie: Hopefully they will; so is there any girls or guys in there you’ve got your eyes on?
Kyle: It’s got to be Kayley hasn’t it? She’s hot.
Debbie: Well you can join the long que then because they’re all gagging for a bit of Kayley.
Kyle: She is stunning
Debbie: Okay Kyle, thanks for chatting with me; so that’s Kyle, we’ve got another newbie to show you yet...let’s meet her.

Tania: My name is Tania from Yorkshire.
Producer: One question; do you consider yourself to be good looking?
Tania: Of course, why, don’t you?

Tania: I think i can’t point out a “best feature” for myself because i’m pretty much perfect all over. I own three nightclubs in Yorkshire and i’m a full time model. I think the worst person you could put in there for me would be the people that have general problems with everything. I can’t stand moaners, there’s no need for them in this world. I live with my parents in a 75 room house; it’s heaven. The initial judgement from the public would be “she’s a total snob”; it’s true i am, well done for stating a fact. I’m not trying to be anyone, i’m me, love me or hate me.

Debbie: Woo feisty! Hello there Tania, that dress is beautiful.
Tania: Why thank you Debbie.
Debbie: I feel somewhat underdressed now.
Tania: You look lovely don’t worry.
Debbie: Thanks; so you’re a self proclaimed daddy’s girl am i right?
Tania: I am indeed Debbie, my father is my life.
Debbie: So have you been watching the show?
Tania: I sure have.
Debbie: Who do you like at the moment then?
Tania: Erm, i like Josh, he seems like a genuinely nice guy, and Stacey is okay as well.
Debbie: Ah i like those as well. So you’ve already met Kyle right?
Tania: I sure have.
Debbie: Well get used to each other because you’ll be together for a while.

Debbie: Basically, these two contestants are classed as being “stranded” on the island because of a plane crash, later on today one of the contestants will receive Tree mail, which will basically tell them that there are contestants stranded on the island. That contestant must then set out to find Kyle and Tania but there’s a price for it...

Debbie: Kyle and Tania will not be receiving food from the powers that be; it must be up to the contestant to take them food from the beach. Which will be very easy if you’re Dean, but if it’s not him, that contestant will have trouble taking the food under his nose won’t they? Anyway by Tuesday the contestant will have the option to eliminate one contestant; either one of these guys behind me, or one of their original islanders, that decision will be decided live in front of the group. Oh, harsh; oh, may i point out that if the other islanders suspect that the contestant’s secret mission, that contestant will be automatically eliminated.

Debbie: So harsh, but yet so brilliant. Anyway, i’m about to head to the beach now to reveal who’s going to be eliminated second, but before that, here’s Ashleigh and Sam’s plea’s to stay on the show longer.

Ashleigh: I believe the public should save me because i’ve got so much to give yet. I’ve had a down week with my best friend going, but the fun side is about to come out again, so please, please keep me in.

Sam: Hey all, i really want to live on another day on the island because i really haven’t come out of myself yet. I’m having so much fun and i’ve actually got a tan for the first time in years (laughs). Please keep me in guys, you’ll not be disappointed.

Debbie: So that’s their pleas, but time is up for either of them. Let’s join the group shall we?

Stacey: Woo she’s here.
Debbie: She is indeed, hello everyone.
Sam: Hi there Debbie.
Others: Hey Debbie.

Debbie: Okay so, you know why i’m here, the public have been voting for either Ashleigh or Sam to be eliminated since yesterday, well the lines are now closed and i can reveal that the second contestant to be eliminated from the Simvivor Island is....

Sam: (sighs) It’s me.
Kristen: Good luck to the pair of you.

Ashleigh: I’ve gone, it’s so me.

Debbie: ...Ashleigh!

Ashleigh: Told you all, i knew i’d go.
Stacey: Don’t worry Ashleigh, you’ve been amazing.
Debbie: Ashleigh say your goodbyes i’ll be waiting for you beside the Tree mail letterbox.

Ashleigh: Oh god i’m hated.
Josh: You’re not Ash, don’t worry.
Ashleigh: I am, they hate me.
Kayley: You’ve been great Ashleigh, don’t worry.
David: Sorry Ashleigh.
Ashleigh: It’s because i’ve been miserable since Kieran went, that’s the only reason i can think of.

Ashleigh: See you all later.
Stacey: Bye Ashleigh.
Dean: Good look pet.

Ashleigh: I’m done now Debbie.
Debbie: Okay so Ashleigh is the second islander to be eliminated, let’s take a look at her time on the show.

Dim lights Download

Debbie: Aww, how are you feeling now Ashleigh?
Ashleigh: I’m sad, i’ll not deny it. But Sam is a great lad, so i’m not too fussed really.
Debbie: You did look really upset when i called out your name.
Ashleigh: I’ve not had time to really show myself, i’ve got so much to show...
Debbie: So why didn’t you show us?
Ashleigh: Because it was so hard in there, i started coming out of myself with Kieran and then he was voted off, then i just started coming out of myself with Amy and Sam.
Debbie: I felt that we saw a more bitchy side to you come through when you started hanging out with Amy & Sam.
Ashleigh: Really?
Debbie: Well in the last few days you seemed to have been bitching about Dean, Kayley & co a lot.
Ashleigh: Was it over the argument the other night?
Debbie: It was bit before that.

Ashleigh: Oh right, is that why i was voted off?
Debbie: I think it could’ve been a main factor. But you got 66.4%...
Ashleigh: Oh right, i’m sorry; i didn’t mean to be bitchy.
Debbie: In your defence it wasn’t just you, i think when you was with Kieran we saw a nice side to you and you just had fun...
Ashleigh: I loved Kieran, i felt so bad when he was eliminated.
Debbie: So let’s talk about contestants, who did you like and who did you not like?
Ashleigh: Erm, i liked Amy, Sam, Stacey...Kristen was okay...
Debbie: Who didn’t you like?
Ashleigh: I wasn’t fond of Kayley, or Dean for that matter. I just found Kayley very false, one moment she was my friend, then when she seemed to be portrayed in a bad light with the nominating thing she started going quiet and stuck with Dean and the others.
Debbie: Any regrets?
Ashleigh: Yeah, i wish i had a better time after Kieran left, i should’ve picked myself up and carried on.
Debbie: Aww, well you’ve been a very memorable contestant Ashleigh, i hope you’ll stick around because i’ve got something big to tell you.
Ashleigh: I sure will.

Debbie: Okay Ashleigh is the second contestant to be eliminated. Tune in to tomorrows show to see which of the islanders will be meeting up with the two newbies...
Ashleigh: (gasps) You are joking!?
Debbie: (laughs) I can’t wait to fill you in Ashleigh; that’s all for tonight, goodnight.
