Simvivor Episode 6

The immunity challenges are over...

The first Queen of the Island has been elected...

She’s lined up the troops; it’s time to throw one out;

see who goes tonight on Simvivor.

Debbie: Hello there and welcome to the first Simvivor Elimination. It’s hard to believe that the last time i saw you were 6 days ago for the Premier. All week we’ve seen the contestants competing for immunity; then the first Queen of the island was crowned in the form of Kayley; she then decided that Kieran and Amy should face the first elimination.

Debbie: So here’s what will happen today, soon we’ll be catching up with the contestants and all their shenanigans from yesterday. Then after we’re all caught up i’ll be joined by a psychologist that will talk us through this week’s events and tell us how the dynamics are going in there. Then i’ll head onto the beach and reveal who’s the first to be eliminated, then we’ll have an exclusive chat with them right here in the studio. So, let’s rewind and see the aftermath to Kayley’s nominations.

Early Morning:

Kristen: I got up quite early this morning and i had such a bad feeling; i can’t explain it.

Kristen: Good morning Josh, you’re up early.
Josh: Yeah, i’m still quite tired though, why are you up?
Kristen: I’m really missing my family today; i woke up thinking about them.
Josh: Aww yeah, it’s they’re real tests these type of shows.
Kristen: I hope i’ve not done anything too bad, my parents would kill me.
Josh: I don’t think you have anything to worry about, you’ve been nothing but respectful.
Kristen: Thanks Josh.

Josh: You don’t expect to think about them, but you really do. I miss my son like crazy.
Kristen: Aww how old is he?
Josh: He’s 3 and a half.
Kristen: Aww that’s cute. It’s gonna be on my mind all day today, i just hope they’ve got something for us to do so i keep my mind off them.
Josh: A treasure hunt would be fun.
Kristen: That’d be wicked.

Kieran: Thanks for letting me sleep up here Ashleigh; i don’t think i could stand to sleep next to Kayley so soon.
Ashleigh: I think you need to talk to her Kieran because she really doesn’t mean any harm.
Kieran: I know i should, but i need time to calm down before i speak to her.
Ashleigh: You seem calm enough now, go and speak to her.
Kieran: (sighs) Okay.

Kieran: Kayley, can i talk to you?
Kayley: Erm yeah.

Kieran: Well i thought this chat would be great to clear the air.
Kayley: Yeah i’ve been wanting to talk to you since yesterday.
Kieran: Well i’ll start by saying that i felt very hurt that you picked me to go up, i really thought we were close, we had chats at night, we slept next to each other, i just don’t understand.
Kayley: I’ve spent a lot of time with Sam and Ashleigh recently, we had that Tree house thing and i really get on with them. Not saying i don’t get on with you, i do, but it was a choice between you and my close friends.
Kieran: But we’ve been close since the beginning, imagine how that would look.
Kayley: It wouldn’t look like anything Kieran, i had to choose two people, you and Amy were the two i least got on with.
Kieran: Okay, well if this is how you treat your friends then i’m going to stay clear of you. I will be civil with you, but i can’t force myself to be friends with you.
Kayley: That’s fair enough then.

Dean: I’m gonna go and collect some more wood for tonight, anyone want to come?
Kayley: Can i come with you?
Dean: Sure.

Kieran: I spoke to her; we’re just being civil with each other now.
Ashleigh: That’s good i guess.
Kieran: I wonder what we can do now then?
Ashleigh: I want another challenge or something.

Kayley: I’m regretting even trying in that challenge.
Dean: Why?
Kayley: Because i just feel really guilty about the elimination decision i made.
Dean: You had to though, if anyone holds it against you then they’re out of order.
Kayley: (cries) I just don’t want to make people feel bad.

Dean: Hey don’t cry Kayley, what’s happened?
Kayley: (sobs) I’ve just been speaking to Kieran and he’s just...he looks so disappointed with me, i don’t him to think i’m a bad person.
Dean: Come on love, there’s no way you are a bad person, you’ve not done anything wrong.
Kayley: It’s just one thing after another, first the argument yesterday morning, then i put Amy and Kieran up, it’s just really getting to me.
Dean: Look, you know you’re a good person, most of us know you’re a good person, don’t let it stress you out.
Kayley: Yeah...i suppose...
Dean: Don’t let anyone put you down love, you’ve come on this show for the right reasons, just enjoy it.

Stacey: You know what i’d love right now, some music, a bit of Michael Jackson to get me dancing (laughs).
David: Aww MJ was a legend.
Stacey: Me and my mum used to dance to Thriller when we cleaned up in the house, those were memories of my childhood.
Amy: I couldn’t stand him to be honest.
Kristen: Why?!
Amy: I disliked the fact that he thought he was the best and all his family spoke about how he loved kids and stuff, he was so false at times.
Stacey: He did love kids though, he was a great guy and i think that if people choose him as an inspiration then you can’t go wrong in life.
Amy: Inspiration from a guy that was accused of fiddling with children for a period of time; oh yeah, that’s right kids, go and be inspired.
Stacey: Everyone is entitled to their opinions i guess, i loved him personally.

Amy: I think the his family are also very disgusting people, they’ve made more money out of him now than what they did when he was alive.
David: Wow! That’s harsh Amy.
Amy: Sorry, it’s just my opinion.

Stacey: Aww MJ forever!

2:30pm:

Ashleigh: We’ve got tree mail guys.
Stacey: Woo a challenge.
Ashleigh: “Contestants, today you are being offered a once in a lifetime opportunity, somewhere on the island is a Wish Doctor, who is willing to grant one of your wishes. All contestants must fill in their wishes on a piece of parchment and place into the tree mail letterbox, then you must set out on a journey to find the Wish Doctor, he is a statue and is located near the waterfall; whoever finds him first will have their wish granted; not all contestants have to take part in this; have fun”.
Kieran: I wanna do this.
Stacey: Me too.
Josh: I’ll have a go too.
Amy: I’m not, i can’t be bothered.

Sam: What if you can wish for alcohol or something?
Amy: We should get alcohol anyway; it could be mine and Kieran’s last night.

Ashleigh: I’ve posted my wish, now what?
Dean: Go and look for the Wish Doctor.
Ashleigh: Oh, alright.

Josh: I'm not walking up there.

Stacey: Seriously, this path is so narrow, on slip and i fall down.

David: Woo i found him!
Wish Doctor: Wish granted, wish granted, wish granted.

Stacey: What did you wish for?
David: I wished for a visit from my dog.
Stacey: Aww what kind of dog is it?
David: It’s a westie.
Stacey: Aww that’s cute.
Sam: I visit from your dog?! I wished for some songs to be played to us.
Ashleigh: (laughs) Another time maybe.

Night Time:

The contestants have been provided with some alcohol to celebrate either Kieran and Amy’s last day.

Dean: Good luck to Kieran and Amy for tomorrow.
Amy: Thank you Dean.
Kieran: Thanks Dean.
Josh: Yeah, enjoy the attention from the public and press.
Stacey: Even if they want to stone you (laughs).
Amy: (laughs) I’m ready for anything now.

David: Tomorrow will be difficult, i hope we’ll all be okay.
Kristen: I’m sure we will, i think Amy in particular is very strong, she’ll take it all in her stride.
David: What about Kieran?
Kristen: He’s got a lot of friends from what he said, so he’ll have their support no doubt.
David: It’s going to be great seeing Debbie.

Ashleigh: Anyone fancy a game of something?
Dean: Let’s play that game where you ask questions about someone in a circle.
Kristen: Yeah, that’s a good game.

Ashleigh: Seen as it was my idea to play a game, ask away.
Kayley: Okay, do you live with your parents or not?
Ashleigh: Yes i live with my mum.
Dean: Are you straight, gay or bisexual?
Ashleigh: I’m straight!
Josh: What’s the longest relationship you’ve ever been in?
Ashleigh: 5 years with some guy.
Kristen: If you could remove someone from the beach right now who would it be?
Josh: Wow, what a question.
Ashleigh: You (laughs)
Kristen: (laughs)

Sam: Go on then.
Ashleigh: When did you find out you were interested in guys as well as girls.
Sam: When i slept with one of my mates, he had feelings for me and we just gave into them one night.
Kayley: If you could snog one person here now, who would it be?
Sam: You (laughs)
Kayley: Really?!
Sam: Yep.
Dean: Have you slept with more guys than girls?
Sam: Yes.
Josh: Name your ideal celebrity partner; male and female.
Sam: Miley Cyrus for girls and Zac Efron for guys.
Josh: Oh dear (laughs)
Ashleigh: Aww, Zac  has his moments.

Debbie: It’s a good job Ashleigh and Sam aren’t going to be out tonight otherwise i wouldn’t know what to ask them (laughs). Anyway, the lines have now closed; whilst they’re being counted i’m going to speak with our very own psychologist Mary Bradshaw; welcome Mary.

Mary: Hello Debbie, it’s so warm out here.
Debbie: It sure is; so let me get straight to this you’re here to talk to us about the dynamics of the islanders so far. We’ve had a eventful first week, tell us about how the immunity challenges effected the dynamics.
Mary: Oh they affected the islanders massively; it started off all fun and light hearted but as more got immune people took it more serious. Kieran was upset because he thought he’d never win immunity, then Amy started to become a more competitive contender in the games; funnily enough, they’re both for elimination today.
Debbie: Do you think that there is a visible alpha male or alpha female yet?
Mary: It’s difficult to say at this point, the obvious Alpha male is Dean, but the other contestants are already starting to turn on him, so it’s unlikely they see him in that leadership role. If he was a leader, they’d respect everything he says.
Debbie: Well we’ve seen Kayley disagreeing with him more than the others so far, why is this?
Mary: I think the most fascinating thing about these two is that they’re both very opinionated, both stand up for what they believe in and both willing to compete in challenges; so why can’t they get on? Because they’re both threatened by each other, they both want that leadership status and they’re threatened if any of them gets it; for example, Dean hated the fact that Kayley had taken two of the contestants to a secret Tree house behind his back, so she’d already won those two other, his reaction was over the top, but he realised then that he’d probably lost two allies.

Debbie: Gosh this is really fascinating; i’ve been convinced they’re attracted to each other.
Mary: They may be slightly, but i think they’ll either love each other or hate each other.
Debbie: What about Kieran, i believe you’ve been analysing him a lot?
Mary: I have indeed, watching Kieran is like watching one of my children, he doesn’t know which is the best way to crave attention and he really wants to be in the limelight. He’s also shown some very interesting behaviour for his crave to take the centre stage because he’s only gone against the girls on the island at the moment. He’s not gone against any of the guys, just the girls, which makes me believe that maybe he believes that the girls are his biggest threat.

Debbie: We’ll have to wait and see about Kieran; okay so that’s it from Mary, i’m about to head over the beach to reveal who will be eliminated first; but before that, here’s the two nominees discussing why they’d like to stay.

Amy: I’d like to stay on the island for a little longer because i don’t believe i’ve been able to show my true personality just yet, i’ve got a lot to give and i think that my opinions and debates could really make people think. I also believe that i’ve got a lot more to offer than Kieran. If i do go i’m going to enjoy my week in the press and i’ll be sure to provide you with some juicy secrets directly from the island.

Kieran: I’d love to stay on the island because i’m having so much fun and my time here isn’t over yet. I’ve got a lot of fun left in me and i think that people will see that side of me come out if i stay. It’d also be a kick in the face to those that have pushed me aside on the island and it’ll also prove that i can be a contender just as much as the next person. If  i go then you can be sure to hear from me because my fame is not over just yet.

Debbie: So the lines are now closed and i’m going onto the beach to talk to the contestants.

Debbie: Hello islanders!
All: Hey Debbie.

Debbie: Good morning to you all, it’s roasting today isn’t it?
Stacey: It’s beautiful.
Debbie: Okay so you know why i’m here, Kayley has chosen Amy and Kieran to face the first elimination, the public have been voting since yesterday and i can reveal that the first contestant to be eliminated is....

Amy: (whispers) It’s me.
Sam: It’s not...don’t worry.

Kieran: (sighs) Come on...
Ashleigh: (whispers) Don’t worry babe.

Debbie: ...Kieran!
Kieran: (sighs) I knew it.
Ashleigh: Don’t you worry about a thing babe.
Debbie: Kieran if you’d like to say your goodbyes i’ll be waiting for you near the tree mail letter box.

Kieran: Good luck to all of you.
Kristen: You’re amazing Kieran, good luck with everything.
Amy: Bye Kieran.
Kieran: Congrats Amy.

Kieran: I’ll be rooting for you on the outside Ashleigh, you’ve been my rock in here and i owe you a lot.
Ashleigh: Don’t worry about anything Kieran, you’re a good person.
Kieran: Right, i’m ready now.

Kieran: (sighs) I’m here Debbie.
Debbie: Okay, you have chosen Kieran to be your first evictee, let’s take a look at his time on the island.

Dim lights Download

Debbie: Aww what a great contestant you’ve been; how does it feel to be out first?
Kieran: I’m gutted, absolutely gutted, i really wanted to stay.
Debbie: You know it’s been so close, the bookies have been switching you and Amy as favourites to go all day today.
Kieran: I knew it’d be close, i think we’re both big characters and i think that both of us had a lot to offer.
Debbie: You really have been a big character; so you were nominated by Kayley to face elimination after she won her “Queen of the island” status, we know you were upset at the time but how do you feel now?
Kieran: Still very hurt by her decision to put me up, i always thought i was closer to her than Sam, i honestly don’t know why she didn’t choose him to be honest.
Debbie: I think it was because she has spent that time with him and Ashleigh in the tree house.
Kieran: Yeah but me and her were close from day 1, but yet she choose him, who she’d only just got close to.
Debbie: Did you know she cried after your talk yesterday morning?
Kieran: Really, no i didn’t know that.

Debbie: Yeah she was really upset.
Kieran: Well she didn’t exactly comfort me when she nominated me.
Debbie: Now one major event for you was “Toiletgate”.
Kieran: (laughs) Yeah, i remember.
Debbie: What were your initial feelings with that, because you’d had a rough day before that?
Kieran: Oh that was the hardest day for me, i felt i was going to be out first; i was right. The whole toiletgate thing was basically some of the contestant’s decisions to gang up on me and try and put the blame for that incident on me. I was really hurt by it and me and Amy never sorted it out after that.
Debbie: It did seem like they were trying to put the blame on you, it was off some comment that Kristen came out with.
Kieran: Exactly, it wasn’t a fact, it was something she thought she’d seen. I don’t have anything against Kristen though, she’s a nice girl.

Debbie: Okay who are you backing to win?
Kieran: Ashleigh without a doubt.
Debbie: Why Ashleigh?
Kieran: She’s just so special, she stood by me when no one else would, i think i’ll be close to her for a long time.
Debbie: Okay, well Kieran you’ve been a very interesting and entertaining islander; thank you for taking part.

Debbie: Okay so Kieran is gone and Kayley’s “Queen” status is about to come to an end, but who’ll replace her? Well, tune into Friday’s show and all the contestants will compete for that status; goodnight.
